brown paper packages

I receive a brown envelope from soprano Runette Botha (top middle, resplendent in feathers) with this great pull-out-and-keep poster in it. Her note explains that this poster is currently folded into the outgoing season's programme booklet, and introduces next year's protagonists. 

Soon afterwards I get all my dates for my German debut as 'Dorabella', and, in a rush, it all becomes excitingly real.
