Argene goes wild

Rehearsals are underway for Vivaldi's L'Olimpiade at the Staatstheater Kassel, in which I play 'Argene', a young Cretan woman disguised as the shepherdess Licori to keep tabs on her errant ex-boyfriend. Argene is a creature of nature - unbridled in passion, and living peacably amongst the shepherds of ancient Greece whilst she broods on getting her beloved Licida back. Our costume designer Sabine Böing has designed for me the most incredible dress made of fine brown wool, and I have some pretty amazing hair extensions to suggest a long time spent living wild.
