First proofs from our photoshoot arrive

A week ago I formally accepted my place at the Opera Studio of the Staatstheater Kassel for 2012-13, where I am delighted to be singing the roles of 'Dorabella'. 'Third Lady', 'Hänsel' and 'Argene' on the mainstage.

Unable to fly out for the official photoshoot for next year's press release, I instead enlisted the help of photographer Joseph Ridout and costume designer Claire Wincott (who was wardrobe mistress both last year in Seillans, and for the recent Cenerentola) to get some shots in period costume. Having carried this beautiful dress in a plastic bag on the tube between Elephant & Castle and Old Street, Joe and I shot in his first floor Kingsland Road studio where you can wave at those on the top deck of each bus that passes.
